What if, instead, we faced the pain, looked at it dead in the eye, and said, “Why are you here?” Pain is the “Check Engine” light on your car. It’s the thing that comes on to tell you something is wrong, so you better get it checked or you’re gonna break down. Pain is mental and physical. Usually pain doesn’t occur immediately, but only after things have progressed to a point that you are beginning to break down. Commitment ⚓️or ⛓?? I’ve always been afraid to commit. Relationships, jobs/career path, self love, learning piano, the list is endless! I have been careless about this fact until I discovered it’s what was holding my business back from success! My lack of commitment shows I think I can put in a little work and get everything out of it that I need. It shows I think something lasting, beautiful, and meaningful is easy or simple to create and achieve - but it’s not and THAT’S OKAY!! If I want to create something unique and powerful, it is going to take time to build. Our generation has been fooled by game shows, cam models, YouTube stars, and MTV that you can get famous overnight, earn all the money you’ll ever need, and never work another day. Lazy days after age 25. Are you fucking kidding me? Why would I believe this bullshit!? It’s an excuse to do LESS. It’s an excuse to BE LESS. We’re all made for more than what we are achieving, but we’re too afraid to shine! We’d rather commiserate than live our dream lives and celebrate! What are you failing to commit to?
